We’re Upp, and we are proud to be helping to level up the East of England by rolling out our next level broadband network to homes and businesses, starting in Norfolk and Lincolnshire. Our full-fibre network is purpose built by Upp, meaning futureproof speeds (for uploads and downloads), incredible reliability and local, knowledgeable customer service teams and engineers to keep your broadband running at all times.
Upp was founded in 2021 by three British entrepreneurs and a senior team of telecoms experts with over 160 years combined experience in the industry. Together with our investor Letterone, we’re rolling out full-fibre broadband to areas across the East of England that need it most.
Being local is incredibly important to us, and so far we’ve hired over 140 people from across the region, as well as invested over £12 million in the local economy (money spent with suppliers within 60 miles of our head office in Peterborough). Whilst installing a full-fibre network in an area greatly improves connectivity, our aim is to always go above and beyond that. To do this we work with local businesses, councils, clubs and charities to help fund projects that sit at the heart of the communities we serve.
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do as a business, and we regularly benchmark ourselves (and our suppliers) against The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to ensure the impact we leave on this planet is a positive one.
